Independent partner firms and Maryland licensing
Brandywine Water Damage Restoration is a call line for water-damage reports in Brandywine and the surrounding parts of Prince George's County. It is not a licensed contractor, performs no mitigation or repair work, and holds no licence, registration or insurance applicable to such work. The work is performed by an independent licensed local water-damage restoration company engaged as the service partner for this area, which is accountable for its own workmanship, scope and conduct.
The partner is the party obliged to hold what Maryland requires for the work it undertakes. That includes a Maryland Home Improvement Commission licence, administered by the Maryland Department of Labor, where the work constitutes home improvement on a home or building of three units or fewer, with the licence number stated in the contract; a Maryland plumbing licence where plumbing work is performed; any permit the county or municipal office requires; and its own liability and workers' compensation cover. The partner answers to those authorities, including on complaints. This Site makes no statement about the current status of mold-remediation licensing in Maryland and asserts no such licence category; the credentials of anyone performing mold work should be requested in writing from the firm.
Nothing here is a vetting, audit or guarantee of a partner's licence or insurance, and no representation is made that any licence is current or covers your job. Licence details may be requested on (833) 490-5225 or from the firm that contacts you about scheduling; they are not printed on this Site for the partner's privacy. Independent verification is available to you from the Maryland Home Improvement Commission at labor.maryland.gov.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Home improvement work in Maryland is regulated by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
